The city of Buhl is a town with a population of 4,275 in 2015 nestled along the Thousands Springs Scenic Byway. Buhl is located just 16 miles west of Twin Falls and is in close proximity to Filer. Known as the "Trout Capital of America," Buhl has a large number of hatcheries producing trout that travel all over the world.
Buhl is home to many unique local businesses and restaurants that are favorites of locals and visitors. The city hosts an annual Sagebrush Celebration on the 4th of July which is coordinated with the Buhl Chamber of Commerce complete with a fun run, parade, and activities in the nearby park.
