"Gateway to a Good Life"
Gooding County has experienced modest growth over the last 10+ years and is the state's dairy leader. With a population of 3,509 in 2015, the city of Gooding is the largest town and county seat. Wendell, coined the "Hub City" due to its central location, is the second largest town. Despite the predominance of dairy, the county's agriculture is diverse from specialty onions to trout to beef cattle.
Local small businesses include Gooding Hotel B&B, Stampede Burger, and Zeppes Pizza & Subs among others. The City of Gooding is also the location of the Idaho School for the Deaf & Blind.

WATCH: Little City of RocksJust 12.5 miles north of Gooding lies the Little City of Rocks. Like a miniature version of southern Idaho's larger City of Rocks National Preserve, Little City of Rocks features rock formations just as bizarre without the crowds. This is an excellent destination for biking, hiking, and rock climbing.
