"The Gateway to Sun Valley" |
Lincoln County is aptly named after the nation's 16th president under which the original Idaho territory was established. Serving as the "Gateway to Sun Valley," Lincoln County is strategically situated between two of the region's larger cities, Twin Falls and Hailey, ID. It is comprised of three vibrant, tight-knit communities: Dietrich, Richfield, and Shoshone.

As the long-standing railroad hub for the Magic Valley Region, the county once hosted the primary railroad spur leading north towards the Sun Valley Resort. Today, Lincoln County communities serve as more affordable alternatives to those in Sun Valley with the same rural, pastoral appeal.
