Lincoln County was established in 1895 and named after President Abraham Lincoln, under whose administration the Idaho territory was established. With a population of 5,316 (2014), the county is comprised of three towns, Dietrich, Richfield and Shoshone, located 40 miles northeast of Twin Falls.
