Saturday, November 24, 2018 is Small Business Saturday, a day to celebrate and support small businesses and all they do for their communities. Here at SIEDO, we’re excited to support the many small businesses throughout our region.

​Ahead of Small Business Saturday, we’ll be highlighting just a few of Southern Idaho’s small businesses, and we hope you join us in shopping small and shopping local this year!
This week’s small business spotlight is Grizzly Dairy Wear!
Grizzly Dairy Wear is an udderly unique store located in Idaho that specializes in ‘Grizzly Tough’ waterproof aprons, milking gowns, boots and dairy farm supplies.”
Grizzly Dairy Wear is located on S. Idaho St. in Wendell, ID—and it’s a shop you can’t miss. Covered in black and white spots just like a cow, Grizzly Dairy Wear is the go-to place for waterproof aprons, milking gowns, boots and other dairy farm supplies. The store supplies dairymen locally and nationwide with floor mats, fans, motors, boots and more. She also works with customers in other industries, like beer and craft brewing.
If you’re not in need of dairy industry supplies, Grizzly Dairy Wear also has shirts, hats and jewelry for sale. All of her merchandise is also available for layaway!

Grizzly Dairy Wear is owned and operated by Diana Sterk, who has worked in the dairy industry for 25 years and owned her Wendell store for over 18 years.

This week’s small business spotlight is Bullets ‘N Brew!

You can find Bullets ‘N Brew in the heart of Hagerman, ID—111 S. State St.

Owned by Gary Mode and his family, Bullets ‘N Brew was established in Hagerman in 2017. The family-owned shop provides coffee and breakfast items, locally made goods, and guns and ammo. This product line may not seem like they go together, but for the Mode family, they saw a need to provide a variety of goods that the small town was lacking.
As a community of avid sportsmen, Bullets ‘N Brew is the only place you can find guns and ammo in Hagerman. The store holds 35 different brands of guns and optics and you can find some of the best deals here!

With a full-service espresso bar, the shop is perfect for an early morning boost or a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. You’ll also find fresh pastries and other breakfast items to fuel your day.

This week’s small business spotlight is The Farm Girl!

Located on Broadway Ave in Buhl, The Farm Girl is one of the best shops in the region for fabrics, locally made items, furniture and home décor. The boutique store is filled with so much unique merchandise, you’ll never get tired of exploring.
Owned and operated by Diane Ratzlaff and her family, The Farm Girl has been at its Buhl location for 2 ½ years. Diane has been sewing all her life—and that’s clear when you visit the store. The Farm Girl holds nearly 500 different fabrics to choose from. With such a wide selection, Diane insists her shop still puts quality over quantity.
